Relic Madness:This Mutator drops Relics into the game, with each special features.
It's customizable with the folowing options:
- Which Relics will be dropped into the game;
- How many of each will be dropped into the game;
- How many Relics each player can hold;
- If Relics can be dropped;
- Time to live after a Relic is dropped into the game;
- Optional Time a player can hold a Relic before it works out;
Below you'll find all the effects of the Relics (update later with pictures):
- Relic of Strength:
Doubles the damage that you do.- Relic of Defense:
Reduces all the damage you take by half.- Relic of Health:
Regenerates your health. (how much each x time? not very fast at least)
- Relic of Haste:
Multiplies your speed by 1.5.- Relic of Redemption:
Gives you a second chance at life.- Relic of Vengeance:
Creates a big explosion after your death.- Relic of Agility:
Provides you a powerful jump.- Relic of Ammo:
Replenishes your ammunition counters.- Relic of Disability:
If you get hurt, your enemy will be forced to feign death.- Relic of Guns:
Makes you shoot faster.- Relic of Equilibrium:
Distribute damage you take amongst nearby players.- Relic of Infancy:
Decreases you in size.- Relic of Invisibility:
Makes you invisible.- Relic of Momentum:
The momentum of damage is increased.- Relic of Radiation:
Gradually decreases the opponents' health near to you.- Relic of Translocation:
If you get hurt twice in a row, your enemy will be teleported away from battle.- Relic of Vampire:
Grants you the ability to drain opponent's life damage.- Evil Relic:
Gives you a rare illness.Here I'll put the advantages/disadvantages (usage) of each one as far as I've noticed it during gameplay:
- Relic of Strength:- Relic of Defense: Vehicles that get killed by 1 Avril, will now be able to take 2 Avrils.
When an enemy thinks he gets you, you'll surprise him and survive the first Avril on impact.
This one is also great to use on strong Vehicles. While Health can be good to provide you with hp,
you can't take a Scorpion Selfdestruct and Avril while defence will save your ass in this situation
A combi of Health and Defense is best for Goliath in TankCrossing in my opinion.
- Relic of Health:- Relic of Haste:- Relic of Redemption:This Relic makes sure you keep all belongings when you get killed. Shields excepted, as they need to be destroyed before you can be killed ofcourse.
But if you get the Redeemer, have Jumpboots, Weapons, another Relic you want to keep etc... You will still have them when you get killed.
As extra: The enemy won't get a kill message and no kill score as well.
Warning: you won't be saved on Hoverboard, it
could fail if you're killed in a vehicle while vehicle isn't destroyed (turrets, manta/viper/gunner-seats)
- Relic of Vengeance:Great to run in the battlefield and get yourself killed to clear some area or do quite some damage to Core.
- Relic of Agility: With these jumps you're hard to kill, as the place where you'll land is hard to predict and the aiming area is a lot larger. You can jump & doublejump much higher and in more directions.
- Relic of Ammo:I often use this one when you will be on a location far away from ammo stocks and not planning/able to resupply.
This will be on sniping spots, so it's best that you use this relic so you don't run out of any ammo while you are on a great spot.
- Relic of Disability:- Relic of Guns:- Relic of Equilibrium:- Relic of Infancy:You're small, so quite hard to hit.
Disadvantage: You can't use HoverBoard, Feign Death, or Crouch. So if you want to be small to be harder to see as a Sniper on a mountain...
Without crouch... it's a No-Go. Use Ghost (Invisibility) if you want to be hard to see! xD
- Relic of Invisibility:It makes you almost invisible (very hard to see). Use small weapons and don't move with enemies nearby, to make it even harder.
When you shoot, get hit or touch the ground after jump or fall, you'll be visible for a sec.
Usage: This is the best relic for sniper or Redeemer hunter. People can hardly see you and when you shoot/steer a redeemer,
you'll be invisible the sec after firing it. So enemies will have a hard time to find the person shooting it.
- Relic of Momentum:This one is practical for the following things: Using the Link Gun's alternate fire (laser), you can turn over heavy vehicles,
forcing the driver to get out and the vehicle will be destroyed soon after automatically. Another good one is using this to push people away.
This could be handy in case you want to capture a node, but aren't able to kill the carrier. Hitting him shortly could push him far away, enabling you to capture the node.
This player-pushing is also handy in maps where players can fall into the deep. Just hit them and they may be pushed above the emptyness, where they'll fall to death.
